Scott,
I bought your working flair video series . I found this to be the best videos around for flair, and i have developed a admiriation for the company barsmart. At a time when i had the choice of changing careers or sticking with flairtending, your videos were enough to inspire me. In Australia (Melbourne) flair is just starting to get exposed and i decided that i want to be a part of this industry.

What i found most appealing about your videos were your beliefs and thoughts on flair. I have previously worked as a bartender at TGI Fridays and seen alot of people who flair behind bars with no control, just fliping bottles and spilling business profits.

However your ideas of flair, take it to a totaly different level: professionalism.

On Jan 11, 2001, The Kiwassa Club of Vancouver,( a service club ) had Scott Young as their guest speaker at their monthly meeting at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club.

He gave our members a sample demonstration of performance bartending at it s best. He also presented a video of this highly educational bar sport showing many of the manoeuvers which delighted and entertained our group.

Bartending today promotes a lot of competition and the entertainment of Extreme Bartending would benefit any bar s profits to go over the top and wow the customers!

Fun And Professional!

To add to all of that- Scott Young is a very personable young man and enjoyed his work as much as we did.

Happy hour with first class entertainment thrown in - you can t lose with Scott Young.

Let me tell you I had a great time at the seminar, and I really loved Vancouver and it s people. They are really friendly and outgoing. I m definately going back some day. I ll give you a call and get in touch with you when I go back someday I promise.

I would like to thank you and Scott for the attention and great time at the seminar. I really learned a lot.
You know, all the things that Scott said about service is very true and I started applying those fundamental things even at my actual job that has nothing to do with the bartending industry and it really works. The secret is to enjoy making other people happy, and enjoy what you do, that s where you are compensated and satisfied.

Iv e been watching all the videos and they re great. I hope I reach that level one day, and I stongly believe I will, or at least I ll be able to do many of the things they do cause as I watched I saw Scott in his early years, and specially the part where he s training at the backyard and he doesn t seem so awesome back then, actually he s as bad as I am right now, but that gave me some hope cause it made me realize that everyone starts off without skill, it s the practice and determination that gives you skill. You can see some difference after six weeks of practice when he participated in the contest.

Well Mom, please send my message to Scott and thank you again for everything and for letting me be part of the extreme bartending family. it s inspiring to watch how a kid with dreams and determination got to be the man he is today.
Your friend from far far away.

I first purchased your tapes in 98 and been going strong ever since. I m dropping you a line to say thanks so much , you have no idea how much I ve learned from you guys, and my job is so much more fun for me and our clients.

Scott,
Thank you so much. It is so cool to have the real dvd and a t-shirt and some cool stickers. I am gonna make everyone jealous. Oh and that girl I was talking about used to work at Stampede in El Paso, TX. That place is like only 30 minutes away. That is cool to see you guys teaching local bartenders cool tricks.

This is going to help me a lot, I am really looking to broaden my style. I definitely have a unique style all my own, and I like that. But I also like to stand in front of the TV and imitate other peoples.

So far in my collection extreme bartending working flair, and the next is definitely going to be your competition flair video. I totally understand that your working flair DVD is for 0-2 years experience. I do fall in that category, however I am really ambitious about honing my skills. I really like it and enjoy using in while I practice.

However, I think I am ready to get the competition flair series. In fact I think I will place my order right now.
You have definitely won my business.
