i was wondering if there are any competitions happening near the toronto area????or are there any bars that do extreme bartending in the toronto area????

Well Deedee, the Flairco offices are located in Oakville, about 20 minutes from downtown Toronto. We have a regular stream of flair bartenders into our offices to practice and occasionally host some open houses.
The next local competition will be the Campus Classic at Georgian College in Barrie on February 9th & 10th. All of the information is available at their website:

Otherwise, your best bet to see the top flair bartenders in the area would be:
Loose Moose - Front Street (Gavin MacMillan)
Shmooze Nightclub - Mercer Street (Gavin again)
Jack Astors Square One - Mississauga (Jamie Cosgriffe and Martin Zikmund)
