Well, I never opted for the bartending classes but from what I've heard, they do offer refresher courses. Does yours have this option? Thats something you may want to look into. I currently bartend and I get stumped at work sometimes. These are the times when you don't remember it, once you make it, it sticks with you. Nothing to be afraid of. Brush up on recipes and liquors and find that bartending job! You'll love it. _________________ whats the dillio?? |

The boys have set you on the right track!!
See if there is a refresher first. THen go to a bar and sit and drink. Try to sit were the drink station is and pay attenetion to what the tender is doing, see how much you remember, you will be surprised to find that you probably remember a lot, and your memory will be stirred to remember more.
As far as getting a job, relax. When I do my seasonal hiring, I realize that interviewing is the hardest part, for myself and the interviewee. Shoot, I start to shake and sweat meeting these folks sometimes. It happens to everyone. Relax and be yourself!! _________________ The odds are good but the goods are odd. |

HA AHA HAHHA
At the rate I'm going, I'm looking at a divorce in less than a month, too much time working and too little time w/ the man.
I'm actualy hiring right now to replace the half of me that will be at home being a wife.
Even the unattractive one make me sweat sometimes!!!!! _________________ The odds are good but the goods are odd. |

Thanks Bill!
Silly me, thinking that working 13 hours a day would be conducive to a marrage! My husband is a cook, so I'm looking at hiring him (practicing some nepotisim) for managing one of my kitchens, and I have actualy promoted two of my bartenders to management during their shifts. Depending on how this works out, I may be in the clear.
Now if my wifely duties include happening to become pregnant, well shoot than I guess the whole thing is a wash!!!
Thanks for your offer. We pan on doing som travling next year and Europe is on the agenda, Engalnd being the home base..... perhaps we will get to meet! _________________ The odds are good but the goods are odd. |
